Job Title: Mechanical Work Preparator

Location: Port Gentil, Gabon

Type of Contract: 12 months CDD with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to CDI

As a member of Assala’s Gabon-based Maitenance team, your role as Mechanical work Preparator will report to the Mechanical Lead to prepare, organise and carry out work of a mechanical nature, and carry out all the necessary preparations to enable quality efficient and safe execution according to predetermined planning and procedures.

In this capacity, you will:

• Identify major maintenance planned activities to be accros Assala assets.
• Ensure task list are available and up to date for major preventive maintenance.
• Follow work preparation process via SAP( cost estimation, material identification and reservation, PR creation for external services and material).
• Work closely with warehouse and site execution teams to ensure everything is ready prior to stop or isolate the equipment.
• Update task list or material required for the maintenance according to feed from execution teams.
• Create MMRF for new equipment or MRP change (V1,ND,PD).
• Assist maintenance the site teams during major activities execution phase when is required.
• Liase with CP to track long lead items for delivery date ( critical items).

Requirements

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent (knowledge of electricity and instrumentation will be a plus)
• oil site experience
• experience in referencing spare parts
• experience similar position of at least 2 years
• good knowledge of IT tools (MSOffice suite and SAP)
