Vivo Energy Gabon are looking for a B2B Team Leader to join their team!

We’re a market-leading, pan-African retailer and distributor of high-quality Shell and Engen-branded fuels and lubricants to Retail and Commercial customers across the continent, with a growing Non-fuel retail offering. Operating in 23 robust and growing markets, we make our customers’ lives easier and their experience with us more convenient, enjoyable and rewarding.

Job purpose:

• To maximize the commercial value of fuel, gas and lubricant sales through all B2B amp; B2C channels, but (retail included) in Gabon through the effective implementation and delivery of CVPs targeting individual customers.

• To ensure customer and business partner satisfaction, thereby achieving market share and growth objectives.

• To manage and develop an efficient and knowledgeable sales force and coordinate all fuel, gas and lubricant activities in Gabon to maximize the total commercial value of lubricants.

Principal Accountabilities:

•Ensure the satisfaction of customers and business partners by achieving market share, profitability, and growth targets.

•Achieve the qualitative and quantitative objectives assigned in accordance with Vivo Energy Gabon's internal policies.

•Develop and manage the key account management plan through

-An account plan that is regularly updated and shared with the sales manager.

- Effective management of performance indicators

a) Retention of +95% of current portfolio

b) Management of general sales or contractual conditions

c) Monthly review of aged balance

•Detect and report on market trends and opportunities in Gabon.

•Ensure the sale of all Engen and Shell products across the entire portfolio.

•Regularly update data on the portfolio's TOP10 customers.

•Leads teams under his/her authority according to Vivo Energy policy.

•Perfect mastery of Vivo Energy's business management standards.

•Ensure that HSSE practices are recommended to customers as part of CVP implementation activities.

•Implement sales development and promotion, marketing and key technical initiatives and programs.

•Participate in the development and drive the implementation of customer market strategies and tactics in Gabon.

•Ensure selective growth in fuel volumes and market share in strategic sectors, supported by Vivo Energy's credit management policy in particular and risk management policy in general.

•Optimize the company profitability on the existing customer portfolio.

•Maintain a "Churn rate" close to zero for the entire customer portfolio.

•Maintain a portfolio of customer opportunities to cover monthly and annual performance targets.

•Develop and maintain the "challenger" skill profile within the team.

Requirements

•Master in sales and marketing or equivalent

•Minimum of 5 years of experience

•Experience in the petroleum downstream industry will be appreciated.

•Fluent in English in addition to French
